The reach truck principle
The reach truck has two major strengths: firstly, its compactness and secondly, its considerable lifting height of up to 14,000 mm. When picking up loads, the reach truck pushes its mast forwards until the fork lies freely in front of the truck. This process is called feed. This is followed by the so-called push-back, which pulls the goods back for transport between the front and rear axles. This principle shortens the overall length of the truck, making it particularly maneuverable. It also improves driving stability and reduces the need for counterweights. In this way, our reach trucks can transport loads weighing up to 2.5 tons quickly and safely to their destination.
