Jungheinrich collaborated with Toll Group on a new 10,000 sqm custom-built healthcare facility, supplying a Racking and material handling equipment solution (MHE) within a tight timeframe for regulatory approval and go live.
Challenges
- Required a fully compliant, scalable racking and handling system that supported ambient, cold-chain, frozen, and ultra-low frozen storage for influenza vaccine production.
- Needed to service reusable Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries to support vaccine production at the adjacent facility.
- Faced strict regulatory timelines, including a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) inspection, demanding precise coordination and progressive handover.
- Required expert project management to ensure Toll could focus on broader facility build priorities, including stakeholder coordination, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Needed to integrate sustainable material handling solutions to align with Toll’s environmental goals and support the facility’s Five Star sustainable certification.
